Gold Tone Mandobanjo

Music123
"The Mando-Banjo, designed for mandolin players, has great action, looks, and tone for a new sound for mandolin players. A Remo PTS pre-tuned head provides this instrument with an adjustment-free head and body. Unlike many vintage mandolin banjos, the MB-800 because of it's unique design it stays in tune! It has a loud crisp tone and low action. The Gold Tone MB-800 and MB-850 are identical except that the MB-850 has a resonator while the MB-800 is open backed."

"It's a unique hybrid that plays like a mandolin but has the sound of a banjo. Features a mahogany neck, nato resonator, aluminum rim, and gold-plated machine heads."

        Ashbury Mandolin Banjo 11" head

An unusual mandolin-banjo with a 11" head - that is the same size as regular "big" banjos.

Open back style, maple rim and neck, 18 tension hooks.

            Tyler Mountain TMBM-100 mandolin-banjo

Tyler Mountain are mass-produced Korean banjos at a bit too high prices. Even if you can save a lot buying one at eBay, both Rogue and Gold Tone (to name just two brands) seem to have better offers for you.
